Reminders

There has been some confusion as to which Labs are covered under Empire BlueCross BlueShield vs. which were covered under Magna Care.

Empire BlueCross BlueShield has stated that the only Lab that is covered by them in their network is Quest Diagnostics Inc. They do not cover Bio-Reference Laboratory, Lab Corp. of America or Sunrise Medical Laboratories which were all covered under Magna Care previously. Therefore, it is imperative that you let your provider know and send any Lab work to Quest Diagnostics Inc. only.

If your Lab work is sent to any other Lab, it will not be covered and it will be your responsibility to pay.
