Reminders

The Welfare Department will be closed from 2PM Friday, August 29th thru Monday, September 1st in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. Starting Tuesday, September 2nd, regular business hours of 8AM to 4PM will resume.

Until further notice, there will be a BlueCross representative every Wednesday in the Fund Office during business hours. She can be reached at (718) 845-5800, ext. 255.

We are pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees has increased the Life Insurance benefit for both active members and retirees. The active benefit has increased from $15,000.00 to $20,000.00. The retiree benefit has increased from $8,500.00 to $9,000.00. This change will commence as of May 1, 2008.
